About Us

The Jones Company was founded in 1980 by Bob Jones. Today, it is run by Greg Jones, CPMR and Dawn Houser, CPMR. And we’re still having fun after more than 40 years!

We specialize in HVAC items for distribution in the CA/NV/AZ/HI markets. Our offices are in Wheatland, CA and our salespeople all live within their territories.

Unlike many representatives, we keep the number of lines we represent at a manageable level enabling service and attention to detail. We can give more time to what our customers need and provide more service and training. Our office is well staffed and answers questions for our customers in real time.  And we still call on our branch customers monthly. This has been a winning strategy for sales growth.

Paul Wolfe, CPMR provides coverage in S.CA. and has corporate responsibility for many customers.  Paul had extensive experience in distribution before joining TJC in 2014.

Sergio Ramos, CPSC also provides coverage in S. CA. Starting in 2014, he worked in the home office for a time before moving to S. CA. to start work in the field.

Buck Goff, CPSC provides coverage in N.CA. and has been calling on his accounts for over 20 years.

Randy Mansfield, CPSC provides coverage in Arizona and Las Vegas. Randy has been in sales in Arizona for over 20 years in the IAQ industry before joining TJC in 2020.

Liz Keirsey has worked inside for us since 2014 and Kristina Murphy joined the office in 2022.  They do a wonderful job supporting our customers and principals in a timely manner.

We believe in running our business professionally and ethically.  The certifications listed represent the 3-year Certified Professional Manufacturers’ Representative (CPMR) degree.  Or the Certified Professional Sales Consultant (CPSC) accreditation for field sales. Both accreditations come from the Manufacturers’ Agents National Association and help representatives better serve their customers and principals.
